EPC Rules 159 and 163

EPC Rule 159:
The European Patent Office as a designated or elected Office - Requirements for entry into the European phase
(1) In respect of an international application under Article 153, the applicant shall perform the following acts whinin thirty-one months from the data of filing of the application or, if priority has been claimed, from the priority date:
歐洲專利局可以作為IPC申請案進入歐洲的指定專利局
歐洲申請案若有主張優先權, 可以在最初申請日後31個月內執行以下動作：

1. 要提出EPO官方語言的翻譯本
2. 提出原始申請案文件，或是其修正本
3. 申請費
4. 指定費
5. 檢索費
6. 請求實體審查
7. 繳付三年年費
8. 有必要的話，提出展覽證明
   

Rule 163:
主要是提出，在實際審查之初，若有不符規定的部份，都會通知發明人/申請人限期補正！
